At the Euronoise Conference 2015, I presented a review of three methods which are all intended to address the influence of sound on the taste perception. In the analysis of the results of the first method, we take into account the added value of a progressive interaction of the participants in their perceptual experiences. Furthermore, with two new methods that we introduce, we intend to elaborate on the claim that customised sonic cues can have a significant influence on taste, and in the decision-making process for consumption.
During the conference I also had the pleasure to co-chair the session Auditory and Multisensory Perception, and help with the organisation of the event for young acousticians, where we invited Hans van Koolwijk, with his sonic-artistic installations.
