The Sound of Chocolate is participating in the Visit.Brussel contest, as one of the best Gastronomic concepts of 2016!
--> Vote for us here <-- The Sound of Chocolate will participate at Salon du Chocolat 2017, in Brussels.
We will present our ideas to general visitors and also to potential clients from the chocolate industry. Hope to see you there ;-)
Please, enjoy the video that we have produced, where we explain the core of our project ;-)
Here a teaser of a collaboration that I did with Bang & Olufsen Belgium.
I helped designing a multisensory gastronomic experience, where we focused on the importance of quality of sound in our daily lives, and particularly while we experience foods and drinks. If you have 10-15 minutes, please support my research by answering the following survey
(CLICK HERE) Here you will evaluate how different songs make you feel. We will use these results in the future for the design of Multisensory Experiences. Such multisensory experiential assessments will be based on the influence that mood induced by music can have on the other senses. Better do it with headphones or speakers. Hope you'll enjoy it… and feel free to share it ;-) Thanks in advance! During the 16th/Nov/16, I will be presenting my work at the 1st Workshop on Multi-sensorial approaches to Human-Food interaction, as part of the 18th International Conference on Multimodal Interaction (ACM - Association of Computer Machinery).
Yesterday I had the pleasure to visit the Cyber Interface Lab, at University of Tokyo... amazed by their prototyping abilities. Thanks to Takuji Narumi, I could also drink some fancy Japanese beer while testing the amazing fork developed by Hiromi Nakamura. Had the chance to see, hear - and touch - one of my favourite building concepts of all time as well, Nagakin's capsule tower. The official website of The Sound of Chocolate is on the air! (beta version)
-->>> Click here <<<- or access through www.thesoundofchocolate.be The launching events are pre-scheduled for the last days of November... During Friday 21/11, and Saturday 22/11, I will be in Plymouth developing a Multisensory wine tasting experience, and bringing an 'avant-premiere' of The Sound of Chocolate, as part of Cognovo's Bizarre Bazaar. If you are around, come to learn about the importance of all of our senses while we are experiencing wine and chocolate. Sunday I expect to be joining my colleagues at the crossmodalism gathering in London.
